Behind naxalism..

We all know that Prashant Bhushan has refused Maoists to mediate for them into Sukma (Chhattisgarh) Collector Alex Paul Menon's abduction case. Now, if Bhushan has the gut to refuse Maoists then he also has gumption to urge them to release the Collector unconditionally.

Bhushan is not the lone white-collared naxal sympathizer but there are many more like Medha Patkar, Arundhati Roy, swami Agnivesh, Dr Binayak Sen, Narayan Sanyal, Piyush Guha, and so on. And all these people are well capable of pressurizing/urging (even ordering!!) the Maoists to release the Collector.

It is surprising that the government (be it state or union government) don’t take action against them because they spew venom against the society and protect naxals on the name of right to expression which is allowable in democracy.

These people have actually taken birth on earth to safeguard human rights. While Lord Shiva can end the universe just by opening his third eye, these people pose themselves as mightier than him and claim to have several eyes to catch even the minutest fault of the government/society. Ironically, they always find faults in the system/society but not in the extremists (Maoists, terrorists and all other ists..).

But aren’t these people infracting all laws of democratic system by running a hidden movement for Maoists in urban areas? Rather, the naxals in jungles are less dangerous than their sympathizers in cities. To prove themselves as the superhuman, they have extended their activities from having links with Anna movement to environmental drives and so on.

Unfortunately, these people move freely and mock the democracy everyday but there is none to bell these cats. While Centre says naxalism is the matter of states, the latter call it a national problem and the ball continues to fly from one court to the other.
